Euangelion is now 1 year old!

It is now the first birthday of this blog Euangelion. I hope the last year of content has been true to it's name. There should be alot more to come of news, quotes, and reflections on biblical studies and Christian Origins. Can I ask those out there in the blogosphere what have been the most memorable posts at Euangelion?

Congratulations, Michael. My birthday is coming up in less than a month. I remember you doing a list of the top exegetes of all time. That qualifies as one of your most memorable, though I remember it being top-heavy with evangelicals -- and with Luther (of all "exegetes") at #1!.

Congratulations on your first blogiversary! As for memorable posts, you've almost been doing too good of a job with Euangelion--consistently producing such thoughtful, interesting, and provocative posts that it's impossible for me to think of only a few that stand out! Keep up the good work.

Mike,
Congrats! I cannot pick just one as there have been several outstanding posts. My thoughts resonate with Michael's-your posts are consistently outstanding.

For "junior bibliobloggers" at least, one highlight would be the occasion on which you posted an announcement of our addition to your blog roll. I know it was a highlight for me.

Happy Birthday!

I agree with J.B. Hood, but also have some additional thoughts:

Most memorable - the "batman" style cartoon of Wright taking on Borg and Crossan. Though I know it was not original with your post, it had me laughing for the better part of the day.

Most helpful - your post on advice to those desiring to pursue a PhD. You answered a number of questions I have been asking for the past year and often found were going unanswered.

Your first posts on the California Jesus were good. The rest have lacked flare :) Nah, just joking. You have a wonderful way of showing us some of your thinking in your blogs [Pistis Christou; Rhetorical Criticism] and I've found those very good! And lots of fodder to interact with!

Thanks for keeping it going, Mike! I'd have to agree that your "top 10 exegetes" was a memorable post. I also like your "why I'm not a liberal or a fundamentalist" post. I've also really enjoyed your comments on my own blog.

Really great stuff, all in all. Congratulations to you!

I'm happy to say, Happy Birthday!

Most memorable post? I'm not happy to say, this one. Why? Two spelling errors in one paragraph. As a Christian scholar, you ought to clear that one up, brother.

Otherwise, keep up the good content. Peace.
